While it’s only been 6 weeks since we closed the Pointhouse for B&B guests, it seems like a lifetime ago. We have had a few guests self-isolating in our Aerie guesthouse but otherwise it’s been just the two of us trying to negotiate these unprecedented and constantly evolving times. We are grateful that it is spring with daily reminders of renewal and hope.
The official word from Dr. Bonnie Henry our PHO (Provincial Health Officer) on a plan for reopening the province or various areas within the province to non-essential travel is anticipated to be announced next week. We have been busy tidying up the landscaping at our new Studio ISO and finishing the new Carriage House at the Annex to be able to offer you new digs when we get the green light. We’ve also installed 2 new hot tubs and a level 2 electric vehicle charger .
We are also busy reviewing all our housekeeping and other procedures to ensure we adopt best practices to safeguard both guests’ and our team members health and well-being going forward while still providing an amazing Sunshine Coast experience.
Thank you to our front line workers and everyone who is showing patience and perseverance to help flatten the curve. We can be proud of our province for it’s leadership during this crisis. We look forward to connecting with you again before too long.
