Pointhouse Dining

While we do not have a restaurant onsite, Pointhouse B&B guests have a gourmet breakfast included with their room rates each morning of their stay. Guests staying in Aerie, Annex or Studio ISO , our independent self-catered vacation rentals, have full facilities for guests to create their own meals but are welcome to add on a special oceanside breakfast if there is availability.

There are other food options to enhance your stay such as cheese and fruit, charcuterie, or for a special celebratory meal, a personal chef .

You can also check out the range of casual, ethnic, or fine dining restaurants, cafés, bakeries, breweries, food trucks, markets and local food artisans to experience the true flavour of the Coast.

Breakfast

Pointhouse B&B guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast served either in the main floor bistro or prow area or outside on one of the oceanside decks when the weather is fine. Freshly picked, home grown ingredients feature in most of our favourite breakfast recipes. We also support local food, farmers and foragers as much as possible.

Breakfast service is at a time you choose to suit the days planned activities. A fruit starter is followed by a sweet or savoury entree, both accompanied by your breakfast beverage of choice. Food allergies, dietary restrictions/preferences can be accommodated with advance notice.

For a special treat, Aerie or Studio ISO guests can join us at the Pointhouse if space permits. Extra charges apply.

Self Catering Guesthouses

The Annex, Aerie and Studio ISO all have full kitchens to indulge your culinary aspirations. Guests renting the whole Pointhouse would also have use of the gourmet kitchen there.

Pantry staples, condiments and spices are provided so you have the basics for cooking and baking. Each accommodation has it’s own BBQ for grilling. Raised beds at the Annex provide fresh veggies, fruits and herbs for the table. Other aromatic herbs, edible berries and greens are tucked in beds or pots around the Pointhouse property for you to forage and add to your feasts. Local markets and shops can also round out your own creations.

Dining Out / Eating in

There are more and more great eateries each year where you can savour the flavours of the Sunshine Coast. We are happy to make recommendations or reservations for you.

Sechelt, less than 10 minutes by car, has lots of casual, ethnic, or fine dining restaurant choices. Further afield, within a 30 minute radius, are more options in Davis Bay, Roberts Creek, Gibsons or Madeira Park.

If you are keen to stay-in, there is a shared snack kitchen to fix simple meals or you can arrange pick-up or delivery of takeout options. Charcuterie platters or pizza are great examples. Grilling is also an option for B&B guests. There is a gas BBQ and outdoor bar/kitchen area in the K’wex pavilion in the warmer months. Each B&B suite has a mini refrigerator for drinks or food supplies.

Enhance Your Stay

Other in house enhancements to your stay can include celebration packages with cheeses, fruit, bubbly or wine, chocolate covered strawberries or savoury platters with smoked salmon or charcuterie.
