We’re thrilled to announce the recent installation of a state-of-the-art Hydron-Aire heat pump and hot water system at the Aerie, marking a significant step in reducing our carbon footprint. This energy-efficient system delivers up to 2.5 times more heat per unit of energy, and on the west coast, it’s expected to cut our energy consumption by up to 40%. By choosing this sustainable technology, we’re enhancing guest comfort while supporting a greener, cleaner future.
The installation, however, wasn’t without its challenges. The local team from K&R Refrigeration worked tirelessly through unexpected power outages, limited space to fit and install the components, and the added frustration of missing or suboptimal parts. Despite these obstacles, their expertise and perseverance brought the project to successful completion, ensuring that the Aerie’s new system is both effective and reliable. We’re grateful for their hard work and excited to share the benefits of this eco-friendly upgrade with you.
