David Byrne, Scottish freelance travel journalist and broadcaster, encourages British Columbians to keep blowing their own horns about the beauty of their home province.

David and friend Shannon visited the Sunshine Coast last October to find out what the attraction was for this little stretch of coastline a hop(literally), skip and jump from Vancouver.

They sampled some brews at Persephone before navigating to the Pointhouse for a best sleep then onward to the West Coast Wilderness Lodge, the Skookumchuk and Princess Louisa Inlet. They wrapped up their sample BC tour with a bucket list Rocky Mountaineer trip.
